I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
